Chloe – Ruling Africa

Chloe – Chloe is undeniable power. She is a culmination of ideas brought together to reimagine the past. She can be seen as the character of Cleopatra; or as the only female Pharaoh, Hatshepsut; or as a Pharaoh of Nubia (now known as Ethiopia). The difference is that Chloe is allowed all parts of her female identity – she is power and beauty, she is empathy and cruelty, she is light and dark (as seen in the mixing of warm and cool colours), she is the gentle blue roses and the sharp yellow crown. Her light is far brighter than that of Audacia’s, there is nothing in the way of her shining brightly. She is actualised, and every pattern and line sings her praises. Her energy is that of female-kind, praise to all women and all of their unique crowns. Chloe manages to fix past injustice by being the past that mankind can be proud of – a past where the female identity is celebrated for its unique offerings and light. She opens a door where we can see that (like Taylor Swift’s song says) we’ve all got crowns, and in this future we can share our light together.
