Original Oil Painting by Lillian Gray
Primastic Soul explores the beauty and complexity of individuality through colour, expression and character.
A woman with striking green eyes gazes confidently towards the viewer, her expression both thoughtful and self-assured. Her face is constructed from an unexpected palette of luminous yellows, olive greens, burnt oranges and rich purples, transforming traditional portraiture into an expressive exploration of colour and identity.
Bold, spontaneous brushstrokes give her natural curls a sense of movement and energy, while oversized gold hoop earrings and carefully observed facial features add personality and presence.
The interplay between realistic details and expressive colour creates a portrait that feels both intimate and unapologetically bold.
Painted in oils on linen canvas, Primastic Soul celebrates the idea that a person’s true beauty lies not in perfection, but in the richness, individuality and many dimensions of their inner world.
